Silent Mod Server

Hey everyone!
Kill4fun has decided to change the jaymod into silent mod.

I dont yet know the main reason why, but I assume he wants to see how well can silent mod do, maybe more players.

I personally hate the update but i will try to get used to it. Hopefully it gets a better activity from the quests than the old server did...

i was in a uce server with names like owners sartax en glass? is that right or wrong server idk? help zazzi

Kill4fun wrote wrong information on the server connection page, wrong forum and wrong server owner names, not sure why, lol.

So I finally played some more on the new server. I've not been as active lately anyway but especially now with the new server I've let my activity go to an all time low. But now I played for about an hour and can give a little better opinion about the update.

I really like some of the less important leaderboards and stuff the server shows on the chat time to time. The silent mod itself is not as bad as I at first tought. I still prefer JayMod but I can get used to silent mod.

I hate the fact that it is a nodownload server now. The only real problem we had with the old server was the maps getting too repetitive. So I don't think that having only the oldest basic ET maps will help that problem in the new server.

While online I only saw one guest in the server. And I think after the new server launched the forums have become even more quiet than earlier too, meaning that the members of UcE have become even more inactive, just like I did. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think our main focus should be keeping the members active by keeping them having fun on our servers. If we focus too much on having more visitors in our server we will eventually just start building a new clan completely. The old members won't enjoy playing anymore and the new members will become the only members...

I hope I get some sort of reply to this. Maybe the server has been doing a lot better without me knowing it. And maybe all the members have been more active on the server, but not on the forums. I just have missed it being inactive myself. Please reply your own opinion...

I really hate to say it but, the server really sucks right now with silent mod no players are coming we just have to back to normal please.

Thats the only way to keep the server online and sure i know its difficult but we have to make a plan! With all admins that are left..

I agree zebra! new server doesn't attract even the old members and UcE is dying...

personally silent mod is one of the best modes active at this period it's more popular than other modes ( ND , REC , TJ ... ) i usually play in SM servers and they are full daily.

i'm sad to say that our clan is totally getting worse , no members no players , no visitors that's perfectly bad right now , we need to be active it's the only way to keep the clan online and running , previously it was more good about 2 . 3 years ago but now it's various !

i can't even connect to the server...

Its doing far worse as silent mod server, even the jaymod sometimes had 8+ players online, this is just pure failure now... and I am not sure where kill4fun is.. , lol

Our friend mr waffen (if you still remember him!) managed to contact kill4fun and kill said something about returning the jaymod server... it is a little late though because many people left due to that change, but better than never right?
